Dr. Joseph Ku is very excited to welcome Dana Boyan into our practice. Dana brings with her a wealth of experience in the field of cosmetic injectables. With over 20 years of experience as a nurse injector, Dana knows the true potential, as well as the limitations of botox, fillers, and laser treatments.
Dana has spent her entire professional career in the field of cosmetic surgery. She started as a circulating nurse/recovery nurse in a plastic surgery office, and moved up the ranks as the nursing director of a Cosmetic Surgery Center, and was instrumental with its credentialing. It was through this process that Dana discovered her true passion: Helping people feel beautiful inside and out.
Dana Boyan experienced her own Renaissance when Botox was introduced into the cosmetic market. Dana was one of the first injectors of Botox and Dermal Fillers in Southern California.This new alternative treatment to surgery has since defined her career.
Throughout the years, Dana has received extensive training with Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, Restylane, Perlane/Lyft, Radiesse, Belotero, and most recently Kybella. She has performed thousands of injections. Over the past two decades, Dana has developed a true passion for giving patients a natural and well-rested appearance, without looking “overdone”. Her goal is to make every patient look and feel their very best. Dana is known for her gentle touch, caring demeanor and aesthetic eye.
In her spare time, Dana enjoys playing competitive tennis and spending time with her husband and three children.
